A flat tire on their bus ride and a very short warm-up period did not discourage National Collegiate, as they came out of the gates energized and passionate, en route to a blowout win over Forestville.

Senior
guard Danzel Wright put on an absolute show, scoring 22 points
in the first quarter alone (yes, twenty-two) and finishing with 42 points in
all. We’ve seen this before from Wright, who scored 38 points against Suitland
in December’s DMVelite Holiday Tip-Off Classic.
Junior
wing Kennith Ford got hot in the second half, finishing with
16 points and four made 3-pointers.
