| Our Flag Football Team Honor Roll Students! |
I would hope this makes your day just as much as it has made mine. Pictured are all of the members of the flag football team who achieved honor roll this marking period. Most notably Dexter Duke and Zoran Harris who self proclaimed "have never made honor roll in LIFE!". In total 11 of 19 were honor roll students with DeArren Dawkins achieving the highest GPA of 4.26. This year many of the young men learned to trust themselves, be accountable and be responsible for their own self determination (something we call the "process").This is a testament to our school, and the opportunities awarded to our program by leadership. On behalf of all 19 young men, their families, as well as Coach Mike I would like to say thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Have a great day!

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a positive learning environment for capable young men and women. We intend to learn from the past and develop children who are critical thinkers and life-long learners. In our effort to eliminate the disparities our students have traditionally experienced, we incorporate practices that are culturally relevant, strategic, and compassionate. These practices are designed to mitigate and challenge the negative effects of systemic poverty that our students face on a daily basis.Wednesday, October 30, 2013
